There are many procedures that help a classroom function during a school day. Below are four examples of procedures I will use in my classroom.
Morning Routine:
- Put backpack, lunch box, coat, boots, and other outdoor clothing in your cubby.
- Bring textbooks, homework, and agenda into the classroom.
- Put completed homework in the correct turn-in basket. Make sure your name and ID number is on it!
- Move your check-in magnet (Your Class ID Number) on the check-in, check-out board to In-Class, example pictures are at the bottom of the page.
- Mark your lunch on the Smartboard by sliding your name to the type of lunch you are going to have today. Put any lunch money you brought into your lunch money envelope, and place the envelope in the lunch money basket.
- Take out your DOL (Daily Oral Language) notebook, copy the DOL sentences from the board, correct the errors in the sentences.
- If you finish your DOL early, read from your independent reading book.
